LDS History Items at Zions Mercantile in Riverwoods

Personal copies of Book of Mormon for Samuel Smith (bottom), Hyrum Smith (middle), & Joseph Smith (top):

Original handcrafted memento commemorating Heber C. Kimball’s missionary labor in Preston, England in 1837.  Made by his (destitute) wife from potato sack and pieces of old socks to celebrate his return. Represents his preaching in the Vauxhall Chapel.

Next two pictures: Original handwritten letter by Phoebe (Woodruff) to her parents and siblings saying “goodbye” before she departed for Nauvoo.
